Pledge shipping is about to start soon for international backers – finally! Since it’s been a while since you entered your shipping address into BackerKit, this is your last call for address updates if you have moved in the past year and didn’t let us know. Please email [email protected] with your address change by Tuesday Jan 6th at the latest.
Of course, if your address has remained the same over the past year, there’s nothing you need to do except wait for your pledge to arrive.

We have good news! Our VAT documents have been approved and Soldier Lune is on its way to our German warehouse for international distribution of pledges. Individual shipping is expected to take place in January.

This Soldier Lune RPG shipping update is directed to international backers only. US and Canadian backers can ignore it.
We would have expected the shipping delay to be resolved by now, but we are still awaiting government clearance for our VAT registration. It was supposed to be completed by the end of October and we have followed up with the German office again to urge them to accept our paperwork promptly.
We are very sorry for this continued delay. We will expedite the shipping as soon as the government provide clearance for us. With this extended delay, we will be sure to check for mailing address updates before fulfilment begins.

Hey, backers. This Soldier Lune RPG shipping update is directed to international backers only. US and Canadian backers can ignore it.
We apologise for the extended and unexpected delay in fulfilment due to administration issues. Here is a very brief summary of what happened:
This summer, our German fulfilment warehouse required changes regarding how we ship inventory to them. This requires us to register for VAT ourselves (instead of processing through them). We used a third-party freelance site to hire someone to process our paperwork – but that person delayed, lied, and tried to extort money from us. It was an entirely unpleasant process that caught us by surprise. This has delayed us for months and got us nowhere, and we’ve had to restart the registration. We hired a recommended professional for the second attempt and the process went very smoothly. Lesson learned.
Unfortunately, it will still be likely eight weeks or so until our VAT registration is processed, and only then can we ship from our US warehouse to our EU fulfilment centre to begin the shipping process to Soldier Lune backers.
We are extremely sorry for this delay and will work as quickly as possible to ship your rewards to you. This is embarrassing for us and surely frustrating for you.

Soldier Lune RPG – End of July Freight Update PLUS Dyskami’s New Anime RPG Kickstarter

Hey, everyone. We have additional details and wanted to share the most recent freight update for your Soldier Lune RPG Kickstarter pledges.
Shipping to US addresses is about to begin. You should have received a tracking number email by now, or you can log into your BackerKit account to retrieve it. Note that tracking numbers are generated by the warehouse freight system well before shipping actually begins (up to two weeks early). US shipping has not started yet, however, so the tracking numbers do not work yet (they’ll simply show “Awaiting Item” or something similar). This is normal.
The warehouse is aiming to get all US pledges out the door in the coming week, though there is a slight complication because the warehouse is also prepping for Gen Con next weekend – and that’s a massive undertaking for them, since the warehouse handles the freight for many dozens of publishers. Consequently, there may be a further delay of a week or so for some or all US backers. The timing of freight arrival in the warehouse abutting against Gen Con prep is unfortunate, but fulfilment is progressing.
All Canadian pledges have been shipped. International shipments will be leaving the US warehouse soon, destined for our EU warehouse for shipping from there. Our EU fulfilment partner has a new import procedure, and we are waiting on some vital customs paperwork from Germany before we can ship to them – so things have been delayed slightly. We’ll post additional information when we have it, and we greatly appreciate your patience.
tl;dr The end is in sight for Soldier Lune RPG fulfilment, but we aren’t quite there yet. Thank you all so much for sticking with us!
